The practical value of the ONE family is its ability to work across challenging moisture and temperature conditions. The technical value comes from pairing that capability with the right grade, preparation, local repairs, reinforcement and detail components.

01 / FIELD AREAS

ONE®

The principal coloured liquid-applied membrane for compatible roofs, balconies, terraces and other substrates where damp or wet conditions affect product selection.

02 / VERTICAL AREAS

ONE® Vertical

The thixotropic vertical grade for upstands, walls, corrugated profiles and other geometry where the membrane must remain stable while maintaining continuity.

03 / REINFORCEMENT

ONE® MAT

A dedicated reinforcement layer used where the current system design requires a reinforced build-up. Reinforcement strategy must follow the substrate and technical documentation.

04 / DETAILS

Bands, pads and joints

Corners, penetrations and movement interfaces require dedicated detailing. The field membrane should not be expected to correct unsupported gaps or unprepared movement joints.

PRACTICAL BUILD-UP

Assess, repair, detail, then waterproof.

The exact approved build-up changes with the substrate and project, but the control sequence remains consistent.

    Assess the substrate

    Confirm strength, moisture condition, contamination, falls, existing coatings and the cause of any failure.

  2. 02
    Repair and regularise

    Remove unsound material and complete compatible local repairs before the membrane is expected to bridge the surface.

  3. 03
    Resolve details and movement

    Form corners, outlets, penetrations and joints with the correct bands, pads, sealants or movement detail.

  4. 04
    Apply the approved membrane build-up

    Use ONE®, ONE® Vertical and ONE® MAT only in the combination, coverage and sequence required for the assessed substrate.

  5. 05
    Verify continuity

    Check weather conditions, coverage, reinforcement embedment, terminations and the completed surface before handover.

Four questions before ONE is selected.

01Why is the surface wet?

Residual construction moisture, rain exposure, trapped water and active ingress are not the same condition.

02Is the substrate sound?

A moisture-tolerant membrane still needs a stable surface free from loose material and bond-breaking contamination.

03Where can it move?

Cracks, board joints, wall junctions and penetrations need an intentional reinforcement or joint strategy.

04What is the final use?

Roof exposure, pedestrian use, vehicle traffic and vertical protection lead to different products and build-ups.
