Where the outside face is accessible, positive-side waterproofing protects the structure before backfilling. Where excavation is not feasible, internal treatment has to address active ingress, damaged backgrounds and counter-pressure as separate technical conditions.

An ultra-rapid cement mortar used to stop local active water ingress before the wider waterproofing build-up is completed.

A waterproof fibre-reinforced plaster used to rebuild and regularise suitable concrete or plaster backgrounds where a thicker treatment is required.
WINPOX CEMENT TIXO / WINFIX WET
Epoxy-cement routes for humid or moist cementitious substrates. Their roles differ and must be selected around pressure, finish and the following system.

Internal waterproofing should follow the actual mechanism of water entry rather than a generic coating schedule.
- 01Map the water source
Identify hydrostatic pressure, local active points, construction joints, cracks and wall-to-slab junctions.
- 02Stop active ingress
Treat running water locally with the appropriate rapid water-stopping method before broader layers are installed.
- 03Rebuild the substrate
Remove weak material and form a sound, continuous background with compatible repair or waterproof plaster.
- 04Select the pressure-control layer
Choose the internal counter-pressure or damp-substrate route around the assessed structure and subsequent finish.
- 05Protect the completed system
Coordinate penetrations, drainage, services, movement and later finishes so the waterproof layer is not compromised.
Basement waterproofing starts before product selection.
External access usually offers a different risk profile from remedial waterproofing carried out only from inside.
Dampness, capillary moisture and hydrostatic pressure require different evidence and different design assumptions.
Wall-to-slab junctions, cracks, penetrations and movement interfaces frequently control the success of the system.
Backfilling, drainage layers, internal finishes and later fixings must not damage or bypass the waterproofing.
